Get to know Ataya Vandiver! Ataya has been with Red Stag Fulfillment since 2017 and she currently is a Kitting Specialist in the Kitting and Special Projects department in our Knoxville fulfillment center. Take a minute and learn more about Ataya!
Tell us a little about your history with Red Stag.
I started in August of 2017. I started in the outbound department. I worked there for about nine months, and then I went over to receiving. I was over there for another nine months before moving back to outbound. I just recently went over into kitting, and I’m learning that department now.
If you could switch your job with anyone else at Red Stag?
Outbound Lead.
What do you like most about working at Red Stag?
I like dealing with different client bases as far as picking and packing orders. And now, of course, getting to know the kitting process. I like the people that I work with, it’s just like a little family here.
What is the most interesting job you’ve ever had?
Oh, boy. Um, I guess you’d say when I was working for the wrecker service. I was operating a tow truck and was the only lady at the company.
How has RSF helped you in your career development?
I’m not quite as shy now. I’ve learned how to deal with situations in the warehouse, and I’ve also learned how to communicate better with people.
If they made a movie about your life, who would play you?
Probably Julia Roberts. She’s spunky!
If you could interview one person dead or alive, who would it be?

If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring with you?
Book, fishing pole, and a hammock

I like spending time with family, fishing, watching hockey and football, and camping.

I was born and raised in Georgia. I was born in Dahlonega, Georgia, raised in Gainesville, Georgia, and now I live here in Knoxville, TN.
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
Fly a plane
