Red Stag Fulfillment is excited to welcome a new leader to The Herd — today, Susan Loveday joins our ranks as Chief People Officer (CPO)! Susan has held multiple roles focused on talent management and development and was most recently Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Summit Medical Group. She is deeply passionate about building up people to create environments that enable companies to become “employers of choice” for their team members.
Susan is a key part of the executive leadership team at Red Stag and will be focused on ensuring that Red Stag attracts, retains, and engages the best and brightest team members.
“We spent time looking for just the right leader to join Red Stag and help the company expand and grow as a thriving, people-centric organization. And I’m very excited about Susan filling that role. Her passions and experiences are a perfect fit for where Red Stag is today and for the future organization we are building. “I think what really pulled me in with Red Stag is that everyone has this energy. There’s just clearly an excitement within everyone I’ve met — and you can feel it, it’s tangible. They all have a commitment and engagement to growth, and it excites me. But even beyond that, the leaders truly want to understand what the employees want to be and endeavor to develop that desire to the best of their abilities. Most places focus on the organization first, but Red Stag focuses on the employees first and that’s the biggest thing that drew me to the company,” says Susan.
In her new role, Susan will be responsible for attracting, retaining, and engaging team members that truly embody our core values.
“I’m honestly thrilled to be joining Red Stag at this time and in this role that is essentially a blank slate. So many places across the nation are having trouble with staffing and meeting the challenges of getting the work done with what is available and with Red Stag you have an organization that is willing to invest in strategies that are truly people-centric. And what I mean by that is that it’s not just about throwing money at the challenge randomly instead of careful research paired with investing in our workforce to meet their needs through innovative approaches. It’s about the growth and the real people strategies that impact where and how our employees can come to work as their most authentic self and excel in their roles,” says Susan.
